Well its not something that you beat on the RPM one is perfectly fine and sturdy. RPM used to actually replace for FREE any part you bought from them that broke, I don't know if they still do this. However im sure there is someone who has an aluminum one but you would be spending extra money for nothing really.

I know guys at my track use calipers to adjust toe angle. They measure the space between the front of the tires, and compare the difference to the space between the back of the tires. Some guys even use a simple ruler to do this.

HUDY, they are on A-mains, bit pricey, great quality though, come with
(4) stands and toe gauge for buggy, if you have truggy, you have to
purchase toe gauge(truggy) seperately.......

The RPM gauge is more than adequate. It even comes with instructions and is easy to use. You don't need aluminum, etc. If you tear up a toe gauge, you're doing it wrong.

You can use a pair of CD disks and mount them where the wheels would be - that makes measuring more accurate and repeatable when trying to set toe in/out to the nth degree.

Hudy's set is great, but pretty pricey... try Team C, they throw in pretty much everything in...

I have one that Adam drake showed me and
It works superb. Take your camber gauge, turn
Your car and transmitter on so that your steering
Is centered, put the car T'ed up to a wall. Or flat
Surface and put your camber gauge against the
Wall
