Tire Inserts

Hi guys. Does this come with every kit? I just bought a Tamiya M05 Ra and it has no tire inserts. Do I need one with this car? Or I can run it w/o the inserts. I'm on my final stage of assembly and hoping to run it this weekend. Thanks for any input.

Yes, its supposed to have inserts. They are flat strips of foam with a diagonal cut where the should join. Sure you don't have them, you maybe were looking for something circular like the tires....??

Yes Duster. That's what I'm looking for :). Maybe you are right. I think I saw these pieces and just dismissed it as something else. The joys of being a newbie . I'll take a look again as soon as I get home. Many thanks, sir.

Checked for inserts awhile back and really didn't find any. Even the instruction manual did not show that we need to put inserts unlike in the other M chasis. Any thoughts?

I found a manual online yesterday that was for the M05ra Pro and it showed inserts being put in the same tires yours uses if I'm not mistaken. Is there a part inventory listed on the manual? Check it to see if it lists inserts.

Hi Duster. Looked at my parts inventory and there was no mention of any inserts. The M05 Pro has one. Could it be that it is a rallye model that they are using a different tire compound that doesn't need an insert? Right now I have finished all that it to be assembled except the tires. I hope I find the answer soon :).

Add: I saw the parts code of the M05 Pro and the inserts are included. It was even specified as "Hard". This is absent in the M05 Ra.
