^^^ Exactly, I've got almost 30 diff RCs and have yet to seel one. If I liked it enough to buy it orig, odds are that I'll be keeping it. Room/space is getting to be a prob right now though....

Really no need to sell every year. If you have done good maintenance on your rc it should give you tons of race time without the breakin hassles and learning curves of a new rc every year. The only time I purchase a new one is when the next model is released then I just upgrade. As for selling my stuff off. yes I do after I trial the new model and make sure it is actually better.

If I don't race it or bash it, then I sell it. It's better left in the hands of someone who might enjoy it.

I have a TL01 that I've had for 10 years. I still run it on the street. It's bullet-proof. Why trash your good stuff in front of your house?

Its all about having the latest and greatest stuff to show your pals. Having said that I don't sell mine as they still run well. Plus I have an adiction to RC and can't bring myself to selling anything.

I only have 2 cars and I won't be selling any time soon(my older car my evader I have had for 3 years). Although on the other hand I've heard of people who buy a car for a major event (eg state title) run it in that and then sell it and even sometimes making a profit from it.

at one point I had almost 30 r/c cars. there were some cars that I regret now for letting them go. didn't realize they would become collector items. rc has evolved a lot.

i think the racing chassis kits are the ones you can sell more frequently. they don't hold the value too good.

anyhow, probably want to keep one good car for different type of usage. Offroad, onroad, nitro, electric. and that's 4 cars already, no wonder some people think this hobby cost too much money lol.

currently, I still try to build two or three new kits per year.

I have 4 rc cars. A Traxxas Slash, a Evader BX, a Team associated B4 and a Team Losi XXX-T-CR. I love all those cars and I don't want to sell. I wouldn't see I should sell them anyway since I wouldn't do any profits and would loose a lot of money after investing so much in the same car. Besides, if racing, it is better to keep the same car to get used to it instead of sarting all over with a new car.

Of course it is always fun to buy a new car and have that new smell and put nice decals on the body.
