Default Question about Traxxas....

I have to send my Revo 3.3 back to them. It doesnt shift to 2nd gear, I tried tuning it, adjusting the shift point, and tightening the slipper clutch. I took it to a Hobby Shop, and they couldnt figure it out either, they took the tranny apart, and everything looked normal. Its brand new, and was wondering if any of you sent your trucks back to them?? Turnaround time, and so on???? Thanx

Long time ago I had a 2.5 sent back. For a shifting issue, but this was fwd to reverse, not 1st to 2nd. Was a month before I had it back and I'm in TX just a few hundred miles from Traxxas. You might be looking at something longer just due to the shipping time involved.

They might not do it anymore, I don't see it on their site, but 7 or 8yrs ago it was an option. Either that or the shop I was dealing thru totally pulled one over on me......

My buddy just sent his Jato in, they had it back in about two weeks, but they didn't notice the cracked transmission housing. Other than that, everything came back perfect
