Default I need help SC10 gear mesh and spur gears

I bought a bunch of new stuff in early spring I'm just getting around to putting on my truck

I have a robinson Superspur gear I cant get to fit right

in between the slipper pad

the hole is huge but on the stock gear it fits perfect

tips tricks suggestions????

I tightened the spring all the way and the pinion just spins
built 4 speed is offline

I don't quite understand the problem you are having. Is the hole in the spur too large for the slipper shaft? If it doesn't fit right, I'd say just get a spur that does fit, they're only a few bucks.

Going by the picture on tower hobbies site, there is a bearing that is supposed to in there.

You realize thats 32p not the standard 48p spur? It was orginally made for the rc10gt2.
