Help with Nimh Batteries
#1

I have the Intelipeak deluse charger and am having problems with getting new 3300mah batteries to hold a good charge. Is there a break in procedure or something. I also have 1100mah Nimh Batteries for the Mini-T that I am also having problems with. I hope I Haven't ruined these batteries in the processes that I have tried. Should they be slow charged overnight, peak charged or what. This is my first time with this type of bat's. I am almost ready to go back to Nicd. Thanks for any help in advance.

What do you mean by holding up a good charge?

I charge them on the peak charge cycle. And when the cycle is done I only get like 3 or 4 minutes of run time tops. It is getting really frustrating

i heard that you shouldn't charge nimh batteries on peak chargers, like the intellipeaks. It's not the best for them. What is the amperage on you charger, do you short your batteries out(dead shorting), I have a intellipeak(plain one), i don't use it for my 3300, i'm not sure if the charger can charge a battery that low MAH.

Thanks for the help but I got it all figured out. Come to find out the Intellipeak was reading a false peak on the batteries and cutting the charge cycle off.. As far as charging the 3300 Nimh on Peak, thats what all the LHS's are saying to charge them on. I bought a new charger today and charged one battery up and went out and ran for good times today so I think my problem is solved.
