SC10 Suspension problem

SC10 Suspension problem
I'm just getting into the hobby and have been practicing with my SC10 for a few weeks. It's a RTR kit that I've modded a bit. Replaced all electronics except the steering servo, carbon front A arms, and new wheels. Everything else is stock.
I'm having a problem with the rear suspension bottoming out. I've rebuilt the shocks and I'm using 35wt oil and the stock green springs with 2 large and 1 small spacer(stock config for the spacers). When my truck is just sitting still it has a lot of squat. If I just set it down it squats about 1/4-1/3 of the total shock range, if I push it down all the way it will only rise to about 1/2 of the total movement range.
So do these springs have a lifespan? I picked up the truck new but there's no telling how long it had set in the box, it came off of ebay. In the box the truck was resting as if it were just parked in there on some foam..all the weight supported by the suspension.
I had thought about picking up some spacers or springs, any suggestions? I do intend to race with this eventually.

First make sure that your rear arms are able to move freely. Pull the shocks off the truck and the rear arms should drop by themselves if you push them up and let go. Honestly if you push the truck down and it comes up about half way that's pretty normal for a SC10.
