hi
im new to the forums and new to r/c cars
i have bought a hpi rs4 sport with a lrp fusion modified motor(i was told it was a 12 turn motor)
it has a lrp ipc super sport speed controller and a 2400 nicd battery
the guy i bought it off adjusted the timing on the motor and i dont know where the timing marks are , there are about four different possibilities which could be the mark, does anyone know which one is the right mark
also this seems a bit slow is there any ways to make it faster
thanks

look straight at the endbell (not the shaft end which is the stick...the other end)...you see the brushhoods...draw a straight line thorugh the middle of the 2 hoods...and make a perpendicular line in the middle of the can...the perpendicular line should be exactly crossing through the middle of the magnet gaps...
that is zero timing...and you start tuning from there...
