question about glow plug
If the plug isnt lighting up all the way to the top of the coil, does that mean I need to replace it? Thats whats happening to mine and I crank and crank but the engine just won't start , All I get is a few pops like it wants to start

Yer replace it and hope for the best, also check your glow starters battery to make sure it is still giving adequate power to do the job(it could be that your plug is ok and it's your glow starter batt dieing).
If it still won't start after that givus a hoi back here.

Its not the glow battery, I charge it for 12 hours and hook it up to the plug and it doesnt lite up the entire coil also part of the coil is touching the side of the plug and i know thats not supposed to be like that. I think its just a bad plug.

Most usually it is your best choice to replace any plug your having trouble with, remove and replace.....its better than trying to fiddle with the element
