Default Completing the package

Hello everyone,

I am new to the nitro hobby so need some advice on what is left to complete my rc buggy kit. I have the following:

1. XB808
2. Novarossi N21R
3. Novarossi EFRA9901 In-Line Pipe & Parabolic Manifold Set
4. Fastrax High Capacity 4500mAh Glowstarter
5. 2 sets of tires and wheels
6. 2 Savox high torque servos
7. Futaba 3VCS stick

I know I need a starter box and fuel but what else will I need?
The confusing part at this point is that people say that if I will be racing I will need a starter box with a 12v external battery rather than two 7.4v and the starter box needs to have plugs to use for plugging in a glow starter since the one I have with batteries will be for my backup in a race!

Please help out its confusing!

P.S: Please have in mind that I will be racing with the above kit in due time as soon as I get the hang of it (I used to race electric buggies)

Default More Stuff

Lets see, a 10x10 pop up tent, table and two chairs, overhead lites, cords, chargers, boom box, cooler for the beers(for your pit man) Rolaids for the track food, dust mask, and a way to get it all to the track. Realy the list is endless. And don't forget spares.

No, you will be perfectly fine with that glow igniter and a starter box with stick packs. I personally run a lipo in mine but sticks are good too. I would pick up a second glow igniter just to be on the safe side as nothing sucks more than forgetting to charge it and trying to fire up at the start of a quallie or main.

I found the following to be the most cost efficient and reliable battery accessories. Please advise if they are compatible with each other and if I need anything else:

1. Fastrax King starter box

2. Lead acid battery

3. Receiver pack battery (will it fit a futaba receiver?)

4. Ansman ultimate charger

Thanks!
