Oven 350' preheated put the tires in for 7 minutes. pulled them out and WITH GLOVES ON!!! I simply pressed the top bead into the center of the wheel. then I flipped them over and put them back in the oven with the other side down for another 4 minutes. pulled them out and pushed the bead into the center..

I waited about 1 minute then I took off the tires and foams. I ran the wheel under cold water and the glue on the wheels just chipped off and the tires were un harmed..

just wanted to put that out there the oven method works awsome if only I knew about this years ago...
anyone who is married will tell you that while the idea is sound...there is no way in hell my wife would stand idly by and let me put my wheels in her oven.....not happening...

^^ Agree!! I only baked one set - my wife was so pissed it was unreal. Won't be doing that again, ever!

I can walk into the Lowes and just buy it, I don't get asked anything about it. I'd be worried about a special finish like the dyed chrome. I've also noticed some plastic wheel will get a little soft, but recover after a day or so in the sun.

best way to use acetone is put about a half inch in a bucket that has an elevated platform, let put your tires in and let them sit over night with the lid sealed, the fumes from the acetone are enough to break the bond with the tire, and the foams are not destroyed. If you fill up tech bucket to full, it takes WAY longer though. and then your acetone lasts longer (it is reusable a few times, it just gets WAY dirty.
