Battery run times
hi thinking of getting a brushless motor for my car and wanted to know how much run time do you get from them?

Not sure how much run time gained but brushless motors are a lot more efficient and requires a lot less maintenance. Remember you may also have to change your gearing and your speed controller will have to be able to run brushless motors.

i have a team magic B8RS and was thinking of converting it and was looking at the team novak kit it comes with the HV Pro Brushless System 6.5T with 5mm Rotor (Kv=3,400; Watts=730) motor and the esc that comes with it can run 6-14 Ni-Cd/Ni-MH cells (7.2-16.8 volts) or 2S-4S Li-Po.
ok so what i am trying to figer out is what sort of run times i would get out of a battery cause the guy at the hobby shop i went to told me that i would only get like 6 to 10 mins run time (i just think he does not want to sell it to me)
