Default Radio

Need a little help!?! I've been in the hobby for a year now and looking to upgrade to a new radio. I'm currently using a Spektrum DX2 and running onroad. I want a little more.... Any suggestions???
Thanks.

Spektrum DX3R or DX3S!! Depending on how much you are wanting to spend.

Not yet! Several guys at the track are using the MX-11 and they love them. Any words of advice before I pull the trigger on one? Thanks.

When you say you want a little more, what do you mean. Just all the way around? a little more bling? or just the newest to be new (not that its a problem, not many people even know how to use half the functions on there $200-$400 radios).

I love my M-11 But you really need to get radios in your hand before you throw down the cash. Nothing sucks worse than spending a good chunk of change on a radio only to find out you hate it.

Quite honestly I own M11 and other than reading about the MX-Sport I have never used one. It looks like the Airtronics one has a few more bells and whistles than your DX2 ie:frequency hopping,ABS braking, expos for throttle/steering, and more range.

Not for the bling factor or to keep up with the Jone's. I reallized real quick when I got into racing is that I should have bought better quality equipment so that I didn't need to re-buy it all again a month or two later . For example, better charger, lipo, ESC and so on... I just want radio that has more than 2 model memory, better settings and a radio that I can continue to use for the years to come as I gain more knowledge.
Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for all the feedback.... I'll check with the guys at the local track and maybe get to use one (MX-11) for a lap or two. I appreciate the help. Cheers!

forgot to add- the MX-Sport has the Model memory you were seeking: It has 10 model memory. I love my M11 and it has options I will probably never use but I got a good price on it. Check out www.airtronics.net for more specs. -Eric

I have a Futaba 3PK Silver and was wondering if it is worth it to upgrade the radio for $199 to FASST technology vs getting something else.

Thanks
