Are these SMC lipos? If not, I wouldn't store them that low, thats the minimum cell voltage, I'd use something like 3.7 -3.8v/cell.

I store mine using a charger with a storage mode at 80% and the voltage on the lipo right as it finishes is 3.97v/cell.

ok nube question but what is smc. I have a max amp and a thunder power 7.4 volt lipos. Both are 25c. The thunder power is 3300 mah and the max amp is 4200

MaxAmps reccomends storing at 50%.
Storing = longer than 2 weeks.

My charger does not have a storage mode either, but I start at the bottom, In other words I run em down to LVC (3.2v) then charge em up to 1/2 capacity.
They also do reccomend cycling them every 4-6 weeks. I have a Maxamps pack that will be in its 4th year this year with over 250 cycles on it and still works great.
I would definatley do what the specific mfg reccomends because there seems to be a big difference in what to do between them.
