Hi all,

Battery is full, nitro is full and all gears checked, but my Savage won't move off!Cranking up the engine is easy.Idling is fine, but when i give it just a little bit of gas,it will dies off!Am i running too rich?Cos i noticed the fuel ran out fast, even during idling mode, without me revving the engine up!

It is a Savage X 4.6 with 3 speed tranny!Engine have been changed to STS 0.30 with HPI Racing-tuned Ribbed Exhaust.

The best thing to do is right when you get the car started hold it off the ground to put a little less load on the motor. As soon as you lift the truck up give it a little bit of gas. Sometimes, the engine can load up at idle. It doesn't always mean your to rich. There is a lot of other things to check to. If you want some more info call Hobby Hut at 610.635.1062 and ask for Mike tomorrow afternoon. I'll be glad to give you some more pointers.

Sounds like mabe you have a crack in the fuel line causing you to lose pressure. Look at your hsn High speed needle and make sure it is snug in the carb. Look for any acess fuel anywhere around your gas tank motor exaust and fuel line. I know that savages have a bad problem with the fuel tank cracking also.
