Hello, I have been doing a little research and I have pretty much settled on the HPI Sprint 2 Flux.

will probably change the body/wheels/tires since I dont really like the choices that it comes with...

I believe the only things that it doesnt come with are a battery and charger...I believe I will go with a LiPO 7.2 (does brand matter?)

How does the Sprint compare with the Tamiya XB series??

I assume you have parts available locally at your lhs? Lipo is a good choice, less trouble than NiMH, better punch and longer run times, but requires a lipo capable charger.

Out of the box its a real nice car go wit the lipo its a huge difference.
