Traxxas Slash if you want offroad. If you're looking for a race or drift car, start with a Tamiya TT-01.

What do you want to do with it? On road, off road, crawling, bashing. Will the noise of a nitro be an issue where you want to run it? Plan on racing? Any friends that you want to race with - what do they have.

Wat kind of budget?

+1 First figure out what terrain you want to do, then we can help you from there. There is a ton of good rtr's out there but we need just a bit more info first.

Get a XXX-NT, you'll have fun plus its bad_ss, plus if you go electric you'll just be spending all your money getting LiPo's and stuff
