Default noob to nitro. need help.

Well i picked up a used rustler pro .15 couple of weeks ago. ran perfect. had it tuned and everything. snapped a suspension arm fixed that. stripped the spur gear replaced that. but now im having a problem i cant figure out. im running the E-z start with the traxxas push button started. when i connect it and try to start the motor it just spins. doesnt sound like im getting any compression. but when i spin the clutch bell by hand i get compression that way. i took the shaft off that the ez start connect to to see if that grabs and spins and it does. then i made sure the notch on the back of the shaft was on the pieace that sticks out on the bottom of the piston rod. im clueless on this one and cant seem to get it running. any ideas? or would it be easier just to get a new motor?

Not sure how the ez start system works. If it has a one way bearing, I'd check that.

This is shown with a pull start - look toward bottom where the pull start is - the OWB is p/n 4011 and either yours needs cleaning or replacing. Look carefully at the way its oriented cause there is a right way and a wrong way to install it. You can find them on Ebay for less than retail.

I can usually clean and relube one several times before they need replacing.
