Default slipper on 4wd

what is the best method of checking for proper slipper tension on a 4wd buggy... I have been told on my 2wd truck to hold both rear wheels and give it some throttle... it should be just tight enough to lift front wheels just off the ground.... Does this work on 4wd as well?

Thx

I wouldnt try that, your most likly going to blow a drive shaft or a spur gear or even a diff because of the tension. and the fact that you could slip and have the tires hit your hand which REALLY hurts, ive done it before and my hand was numb for a few hours

My Sav 4.6SS instructions were to do that, but by hand, not with the engine running. Set it just tight enough so you just could make it slip.

What kind of 4wd are we talking about? What motor are you running in it?

Most of the time you will run it per setup instructions or a little tighter these days for brushless systems.
