Default Lipos for dummies?

I've been out of the hobby for a few years (lets just say gp3300's were IT when I was racing) and I would like to learn more about lipos and brushless systems to get myself up to speed.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Well, I would be racing 1/10 onroad. Must be ROAR legal.

Really depends on the class your racing in. The guys at your local track should be able to help you the best. Lipos/brushless are a god send for electric RC IMO.

If you are looking to go all out then Tekin and LRP are your best bet for brushless speed controls.

Tekin, Novak, LRP, Orion, and others all make great motors that work with any sensored speed control. Grab a motor to match whatever classes are being run at your local track.

As far as lipo's go, any hard case ROAR legal pack will greatly outperform 3300's.

You're question is so broad it might be better to skim through the onroad threads and then ask more pointed questions
