Default Piranha Peak Power Battery Charger

Hello,

My uncle gave me this charger with my first car. He said that the 110v on it stopped working after he accidently pulgged the battery in backwards one day. 12v connectors still work though. I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas of how I could fix this.

Thanks.

No, he's prob shorted and blown the AC transformer inside and short of replacing it, its prob not fixable. Its a cheap, but good charger.

At least the DC side wtill works. Get a cheap DC power supply - that'll let you use it in the house away from the car battery. If you're charging at 5amps, get an 8amp power supply, otherwise 5amp supply will prob do it.

Welcome to the forums!
