Since it clearly says on the Spec Page where you got the battery info
"Input Voltage: 4-7 cells or 2S Li-Po when used with Novak's #5470 Smart-stop Li-Po Module (#5470)" that you should get the LVC as they recommend.

Any 2S lipo is o.k. you don't have to run a LV cut-off just make sure not to run your lipo down too far.

Have you yourself ever used or have any personal experience with those packs?

Zippys seem to be pretty good for the price - feedback's been good on RCMonster. I'm planning on buying some, just 3S version.

You need a 2 cell cutoff. The 2s in your description:

4000mah 2s1p 25c

Also commonly known as a 7.4 volt pack. (nominal voltage)

The 4 cell would be for a 4s, or 14.4 volt pack.
