does anyone know any good ideas on how to build a crawler track

You can make a course out a of a big pile of rocks. Ive seen a few courses built oin a large piece of wood with foam insulation sprayed with truck bed coating...

I saw one in Sacramento that had pieces of slate and the traction was good...looks more natural and less chance of falling rock...
