Default Increase RC car range?

I recently bought a Rustler RTR and i love but..the range on the car is about 350-400 feet but for what i am trying to do with it i need the range to exceed about 800+ is what parts will allow me to do this? and if not possible how high can the range be bumped up to.

-Thanks =D

A higher quality radio and receiver will increase your range.

at the least go to FM, or better yet, spread spectrum.
you;ll enjoy much better range from your model.

My spectrum radios still control when they are farther to control than what I feel comfortable with....it's well over 1km.

sorry to call you on this one, but your request is quite a bit over-the-top
nobody has the need, let alone can see well enough to control them, to run these at 260 yards. it ridiculous

thats way out there, beyond where u can see 'the character' of the terrain ur model is traversing. crashing hard b/c u didnt see an obstruction, or merely gettin stuck or flipped over.....makes for a nice walk. eck
