Default BAsic TC3 advice needed!

Right basically just got a TC3 8 months old off me mate! its brand new and hasnt even been made yet!

Needed to know about what Spur and pinion i should use with a P2K2! for fast Speed!!!!!!! u know what ratio u find best!

If i get time i will be down the local track so need to know the stuff!!!!

i am not a complete beginner have some basic knowledge of Tamiyas!! (thats why i said basic knowledge)

Also would me Mint Lancer EVO VI shell fit onto the tc3!!! it looks the dogs in Bluey/Purple and white!!!!

If the body's 190mm, it SHOULD fit. For gearing, ask the guys at the track about that. Kinda depends on layout, size, etc.
For absolute top speed with unlimited space, gear up. Bigger pinion/smaller spur. But, the shallower your gearing is, the harder it is on your motor. That's another tool to use in gearing, motor temp. The motor should come off warm, but not so hot you can't hold on to it. If it's too hot, drop a tooth or two on the pinion, if you're slow, but the motor isn't hot, gear up.

Thanks! also i got a green machine and was wondering roughly what overal ratio it should be at for optimum performance (roughly) for most people!!!!!

For a GM3, start around 2 teeth lower than whatever you run with the P2K2. GM3's hate being overgeared, they tend to let the smoke out when they are.
