Default BATTERY HELP!!!

I have a new Trinity 3000 mah pak. The problem I am having is that when I charge it the charger kicks off like it is charged after about 10 minutes. But when I use it the run time is just a couple of minutes and then it is done. Is there anything I can do to help the problem or is the battery done?

Does the pack get warm at the end of charging? If not it might be a false peak on the charger. Try to restart the charger, just don't let the battery get more than warm to the touch, say 120 to 130F.

battery does not get warm. When I reset the charger should I also discharge the batteries and charge them again.

As you said, "the battery is done" so it doesn't need discharging.
My guess is that you're using a cheap charger, no offense, and while you may struggle along by constantly re-setting the charger till the battery gets a full charge (warm pack) it would be my advice to get a better charger.

Hi there. I have the same problem with some of my battery packs.
How many amps are you charging at?
I've found that if your fast charging and are using tamyia style plugs they can heat up too much and the charger gets a false reading.
Try using deans plugs, they can take the heat.
