well you can buy lead weight strips from your lhs or online and they are normaly 60grams (divided into 4 10gram blocks and 4 5 gram blocks(that you can separate)) that is the proper way to do it and if your lucky you can get one that has a cf decal to match your chassis

dont drill holes on the chassis thats the dumbmest idea i ever heard, try to balance the car as much as possible with the placement of the electronics then if needed add lead weight where is needed.

Im not sure if theres a tool for it, but determining where to put weight is based on feel and how you want to setup the the car. I wanted more off power steering so i put weight in the front. from side to side you use weight to make the car lean more in the turns or to reduce the chances of traction roll. I usually use coins as weight if i dont have any lead weight.

I know what you are asking. Look about half way down here. It explains how to calculate weight bias using scales. It shows how to do it for a revo and front to rear but the same principles apply to a TC and side to side.

I would say add as little weight as possible and focus more on preload on your shocks, that really helped me but I guess it doesnt work for everyone.

I have four small 500g digital scales on a cutting board that ive added adjustable feet to. That way you balance all four corners and and also write down the values for repeatablitily so when you rebuild shocks or change a part you can go right back to where you were.
