Default Titan 12t

Well, I still have this titan 12 turn stock engine for my rustler. I've been running it in a sand bashing area, and now it seems to be very raspy sounding, like something is rubbing together. Is there a way I can open it up and spray it with some compressed air? With brushless would i have this proble\M?

how old is your titan 12T?? as far as i know,, the titan has cooling fan inside,, and actually it sucks air to cool the motor,, now if you are running on sand probably there are sand or metal fillings inside your motor,.. in opening the motor,, look for the lock at the end bell and try to snap it, careful on removing or you may brake the brushes..
