Nitro receiver packs

I've still got the good old 4 x AA receiver battery pack.

I've seen guys with 'hump packs' or rechargable packs.

Can anyone tell me what Voltage and mAmps or whatever i may need for my TS-4N, cause i was going to get a new pack via mail order?

Also, will i notice much difference in the performance of the servos?

Thanks guys

try to get the battery pack with the highest amp rating. also, determine if the pack will fit in your nitro car because you may have to find a new location, considering youre gonna use 5 cells instead of 4. if you were using 4 nicads, you will notice a difference in your servos if you switch to 5-cell packs. the extra 1.2volts will deliver more power.

Switch to 5 cells you'll get more voltage and longer run time.

Don't use a 4 cell RX pack. They have a slightly smaller voltage than a 4 cell alkiline has. ( Rechargables have less volage ). A 5 cell pack is really what you need.

Trinity, Ofna, Dynamite, mugen all have RX packs. They have Flat Packs(all flat in a line), hump packs(3 cells on the bottom, 2 on top) , and a different hump, 4 on the bottom 1 on the top.
