Default oversteering on one side only

hi i have a tc5 touring car. this was my first build and it is very sexy.

well the other day at the track. i met the wall and he was not a nice person.

after that, my car would spin out if i turn it left, but it won't do that when i turn it right.

i checked the droop and height it is fine. now i am not sure how to cure this problem.

it will drive straight though, no problem

someone said to unscrew/screw the bolts on the chassis.

has this ever happen to anyone?

could be a lot of things. a one way problem, tweaked chassis, a dogbone fell off, or a chunked foam tire. try to check that everything is still in place

Sounds like something must be binding. Check all four corner suspension systems. The wheels must rotate freely, suspension arm should fall by its own weight when the shock isn't attached.

Check for bent hinge pins.

Also, check for messed up bearings. It's happened to me before, you hit a wall hard enough, it can wreck a bearing(or even several, I've lost all 4 axle bearings on a side before from a bad hit). I know on my MSX, my rear hubs make a VERY tight fit for those bearings, & one good hit's enough to damage on or both of the ones in there. Plus, I've also done it on the TC4's I used to have, so I'd check all the outer bearings on that side of the car(believe me, you'll KNOW if it's bad, it'll feel like crap). If they bind on one side, then the car will want to turn more on that side(which usually means spinning out more on that side, if the left side of the car hit the wall, then it could make it spin out when turning left). Just a litte something to watch out for....

You can also try checking on your camber and fallen dogbones.

Ball stud on front camber links. Top ones on the C-hubs.

Cracked C-hub.
