Default Looking for my first rc car, rather specific

I want to get into my first nitro RC car, but I Really only want one type of car= a 1967 mustang fastback. If you know of one (which I doubt they have that exact car) please share because I couldnt find one (though I dont even really know good websites to look at it, mostly just googling). if not, do you have any suggestions on wich car to buy to take off the body kit and custom mount one from a model car? what size should I use than? I know im rather a noob at this, but any info would be apprieciated. thank you for your time

with 1/10 scale nitro cars, alot of bodies are interchangeable. im pretty sure you can find some companys that make bodys of older cars. not sure of that one.

but either way you can find a body for a 1/10 nitro car thats somewhat a classic.

hope this helps you understand.

welcome to the boards!

yes, Mrmagoo is right.. I think you should focus more on what nitro 1/10 scale kit you are planning to buy.. Coz bodies are easily changeable..

Yep, get yourself the best car you can afford and you can pick up bodies to paint in whatever colour you want!
i think that HPI make both the Stang and the comaro!
They also make old school 5 spoke wheels and tyre sets that are perfect for that era look!

both hpi and parma makes 200mm mustang bodies, they look pretty close to the 1967 mustang fastback

these bodies will fit almost all 200mm onroad nitro car kits so even if you choose a different brand of car kit, you can buy just the body and it will fit

imho, the hpi looks much better and more detailed you can also get an hpi car kit with this body, just browse www.hpiracing.com
