won't fire

New to nitro and have a problem. When I pull the starter rope it fires but as soon as I let the rope go back in it stalls, it keeps idling with the rope out at full length, what's the problem?

intresting... Maybe the one-way bearing is seized

anyone else know?

Pull Starter problems

Try letting the rope/cord back in slowly and see what happens. Listen carefully to the engine and see if you can hear it bog down as the rope retracts into the housing. If so, then something is binding inside the Pull Start housing and it needs to be fixed. I would think if the One-way bearing is defective, you would NOT be able to hold it out with the engine running.
Other than that, without having it in my hand, I don't know what else to tell you.
