most guys i know use acetone.
i use a glass jar ,put my tries and rims in let set about 1/2 hr
the glue dissolves, then clean both surfaces with a clean towel
and your ready. also it drys very fast!
becarefull breathing and handeling while in the acetone!
it is a strong chemical!
the jar is to keep the acetone from evaporating so fast!

boiling rubber tires will only make the rubber softer, this will affect the tire compond sence the rubber is now softer than before, i have not tryed it but i bet the tire will wear much faster! also may be to soft, the tire carcus rolls over when turned hard. not good!

where i am from they race on gumbo clay so we make all tires into slicks, the only thing that wears are the foams inside the tires, i know guy still using the same tires from 3 seasons ago!
so i know the acetone thing works flawless!
i hope this info helps!

I put mine in the oven. Preheat to 350 then turn it off and stick the tires in. Wait about 15 minutes or so and pull them out, let them cool, then they crack right off. No damage to the tire or wheel.
