Default what kind of grease?

Hi,
I'm new to the rc world and just purchased a tamiya tt-01 kit to start off. I have one question, in the manual it says to apply grease in multiple places, can I just use 100% pure silicone grease? thanks

I would recommend using Black Associated grease to use on Thrust assembly and Associated Clear grease when building the diff.

Generally you can feel the diff and if it starts feeling a little grindy then it's time to change the diff rings or just flip them. Then you clean the diff I use motor spray, afterwards you can use the Associated clear grease to reinstall your diff balls and reassemble your diff again.

You can use WD-40 to clean and lubricate pivot areas like arms were hinge pins are used.

You have to be careful using WD40 on plastics as it can destroy them and cause cracking. WD40 will actually swell the plastic and it is a great dust collector. Silicone spray is best for lubricating when plastics are involved.
