Digital Servo Humming?
Well,I was just wondering I just bought myself a 9550digital servo for my yokomo special(mr4tc) and I noticed that when I turn left and right the servo seems to hum alot? I not sure if this is normal for digital servos because I always used regular (KO) fet servos all my life and airtronics non-digital high performance servos...My other servos all hum but they just hum for 1 second then it stops...With my 9550 digital servo it hums continuosly from left to right and when it is in neutral...Just want to know if this is normal for digital servos...Thanks alot for your time...

That is normal.
They hum because they check the servo position a lot faster
(= more often) than regular servos. They check the position of the servo around 20-50 times more often (i know my numbers must be off, but you get my point)

my 3003 servos hum when they reach the maximum position that the steering linkage will allow. i just adjust the endpoints until the humming stops.
