Default Pull start question?

Hiya, im after a new recoil starter unit for my tamiya fr15s engine, im wondering how they come as a replacement part, do they come ready to fit? or will i have to coil the spring up (which i hate doing!) many thanks,

Save your self the pain.... Forget using another pull start. IT broke right? That tells you there not all that reliable.. Pull starts are old skool blister making starters. For a few bucks more you can do better

2 options:
-get a starter box 100% reliable the best option
-get a roto start from hpi,ofna,hotbodies,sullivan ect. It comes with a backplate to go where the pull start used to be. and you basically drill start it

YES Joel..... is rigth dont go with the pull start they are a waits of money

thanks for your quick reply, im a bit confused as to which rotostart system to get, i dont really want to be carrying big starter boxes around with me, i have a tamiya fr-15s from a tamiya nitro force rc car. Will some of the HPI rotostart kits fit it? many thanks again to all you guys
