Mini speaker for a doll
Sorry, I know this is not an R/C question, but I'm hoping someone can direct me on this one..
I would like to know how to get my hands on a mini speaker that I can reorder a sound to, and have it play back via the speaker. Like they use for the Elmo Doll, or other applications like this. Like they use in greeting cards... or a little bigger...
I'm looking for a speaker (mini / very small) that i can record 6 to 8 seconds of voice or whatever to. and it plays back, when power is applied. When power is removed, it resets back to the start. I looking to be able to provide a master sound and have the sound recorded to the master chip/speaker, then make many of this, with that one sound on it.
Hope this helps to what I'm looking for...

Ok, I found a device at Radio Shack, it is a 20 second digital recording module. Here is the link to the item: http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...entPage=search
But I'm not able to figure out how to get it to reset to the start, when the power source is removed. Also the sound that I recording to the device is great, but when I record it and it is very low and bad... I think it is the mic that is the problem.
Since I'm not a elec person, does anyone have any ideas to how I could get the device to reset to the start when power is removed?
