Default Help! Broken pipe...?

Hey all,

New here, as this is first post hehe.
Been around a lot, jus reading around, but didn't have time to sign up.

Just tuned my car to about peak performance today with help from a friend.

Kit: Kyosho FW-05T PLUS (with BMW M3 shell)
Was wrapping up when I got distracted and hit the wall quite hard on the right side.

This busted the pipe so that the tip was gone. It also cracked my fuel tank.
I think overall pipe itself is ok and undamaged.

Question here is: Can I reuse pipe? Or must I get a new one?

Thanks in advance for any help!

I would get a new one......the stinger diameter and length both effect the tuning of the pipe, also the ability to hold the tune throughout the rpm range of the engine.

if by tip you mean the stinger? IT can be JB welded back in place, i have done this repair a few times to damaged pipes, try to pull the dent out and fit the stinger back into the pipe and JB it in place, it shouldn't be your race day pipe but it will work and run for a long time like that... till u hit a wall again
