You might not get a lot of people to reply to this question. If you do a search in this forum, you will find a lot of areas where this question has been asked. This is also a pretty vague question. here is the info you need to supply for us to be able to give an direction to go.

- What are you using it for? Racing or bashing?
- What kind of vehicle? Buggy, stadium truck, 2wd, 4wd, short course, on-road, off-road, truggy, etc...
- What scale? 1/10, 1/8, etc...
- What power source? Electric, nitro, gas, etc...
- If your racing, what surface are you going to race on? Clay, lose dirt, carpet, etc...
- If you race, what class? 17.5, 13.5, modified, etc...
- If your bashing, what terrain are you going to be on? Rocks, sand, grass, rough dirt, etc...

The best way to choose the first race vehicle is to get to your local track and ask local drivers what do they run and buy the same vehicle of the used one from the same local drivers. This way you will get into racing more quickly.

For parts availability I say go w/ an Traxxis RC (truck / buggy). I had great luck w/ traxxis, but there are a lot of different RCs out there, way more choices than it was back in 1991!! lol

Without knowing what you plan to use it for there's very little we can do to recommend you a car/kit.

Race or Bash?
Budget?
local track?
there's a good amount to consider!
