I want to change the title on my thread but I can't find a way to do it. Editing the first post only lets me edit the title of the post itself. Please help.

If you click the "Edit Post" button of the first post in the thread the title is the actual thread title. Changing it will allow you to change the title of the thread. It should work, because I actually did exactly that just about 45 minutes ago.

I tried that and it just changed the post title. I'll try again.


EDIT: I just checked and it just changed the post title.

Alright, when you click on a thread you created you must click the first post in that thread to change it's title. You are only allowed to change thread titles that you created. Go back and click "Edit" on your very first post in this thread, and in the "Title" bar change the title to... Changing the thread title... (TEST).

I know how. I'm not new to forums. I did that on my F/S F/T thread and it only showed up as changing the post title.

Are you trying to change the post title on the first post, or another post in the thread?

Dude. I know how to, it's just when I try to change it it only changes the first posts title, not the thread title.

I'm sorry then, I guess I can't help you. Track down futeral and let him know. If that doesn't work, try looking for a moderator who's on all the time, they might be able to help you.
