Default New NEED HELP

I am totally new to RC and need some help. I inherited the cars/trucks in the picture and would like to figure out what I need to do to get at least two of these working for my boys. I only have one remote, no chargers and not sure if any actually ever worked. I can upload individual photos of the internals if someone can help. They all seem pretty badass, believe they were all custom built.

It wont let me post on image so if anyone wants to see Ill have to send to an email i guess.

Thank You

The belt drive 1 looks like maybe an older hpi rs4 Mt. Is there any kind of markings on any of them?

I looked and didnt see any markings. I was able to get three of them charged but every time I plug them into the battery they just wanted to take off on their own. Any ideas on why that happens?

Ment markings on the cars not batteries. They take off cuz the radio is not on and since you have old school electronics in them with the radio off they will go on their own if the speed control is not in the nutral setting

I dont see any markings besides individual part names. I dont see a switch on the radio. The radio is a Mercury and has CH1, CH2, and Battery. It is plugged into the CH1 and CH2.

Thank You

The switch for the radio is the silver button towards the front. Make sure the silver knob that maybe labeled thr or something starting with a T is set to 0
