Onroad bodies

hi all,

im trying to figure out how far forward the body is to be mounted? Should it be just in front of the bumper. I have onroad 1/10 scale touring cars. Thanks all

Best way to do it is before you paint the body raise the car off the ground and take the tire off and then put the body on your car and move it around so the tires are centered in the wheel wells if the bumper is to big you can always trim it down to fit in the body

Cut out the body on the manufacturers bottom line. Then cut 3mm higher/more, leave the wheel wells for now. Most 190mm TC bodies have the wing side dams in the middle of the front wheel well. There should be grooves that mark center and a few grooves each way. This equates to 2mm each line. Line up your front axel to center or behind center of those grooves, however much you want. I always do 2mm behind center. You might have to extend the grooves down with a pen because the body is on top of the body posts.... Then once you’re set where you want, mark and ream your body posts. Drop the body on, and mark the center of your axels all the way around. Cut out a 65-68mm circle from the center of your axels. You’re done. Perfectly mounted body on your specifically setup touring car.

that may work on a CEN Racing rtr or cheap traxxas front driveway bashing car that you buy at the local circle k or autozone but not for on road racing
