Default LIPO Batteries

Hey!
I was just wondering what good 2s and 3s batteries I should get? I would need it to be at least 40-50 c and hopefully at least 4000mh. I was wondering what brands i should get? Im not opposed to spending money for a superior battery, but the ones I see from venom and dynamite seem expensive compared to turnigy, turnigy nano-tech, etc. So are the cheap brands good? Or should i pay top dollar? No need to be roar spec either as will mostly be using for bashing. Also I see cheap lipos from brands like Zee, floureon, and goldbatt? are these any good?
Thanks

as with anything made from chemistry .

purity , mixture , testing, reputation.

but there are only a few real manufacturers.. most others are relabeled or custom blended..

my opinion.
search is your friend.. read a few hundred reviews... then make a choice..

SMC all the way been using there batteries for 7 + years . nano tech and others where hit and big misses for me I race so I want what I paid for to last more than 10 cycles..https://www.smc-racing.net/index.php...tegory&path=67

I dont believe in the ole 1 or 3 makers the rest are relabled.nope many myths in rc its up to the reader to try and make it thru the hog wash..

This has came up many times and can be a really iffy subject really quick but for a basic good pack I like fantom and speedzone. Smc can be good as long as you are not really beating the crap out of them.

Treat batteries right and for the most part they will last. I used to be more brand specific, liked having a hobby store to back me if had problems. But over time I’ve become more willing to give others brands a try. SMC, SPC, R1,Venom, Lipofactory, GenAces, Team Orion, Traxxas. Probably missed a few there also.

have three that I've ran weekly for 4 months 30a charge and discharge with no swelling. I personally run PCR at major events and they are my go to but I've not had a issue with speedzone yet.

Sunpadow and Vampire racing and Reedy has been good to me. Always discharge a full pack to storage charge if you didn't use it. Do not charge a pack the night before and let it sit overnight ready to go the next morning. I know that's hella inconvenient but I had a pack mildly bloat on me that way. Always keep them at storage charge, and charge them up fully when you're ready to go.

I've has some floureon 2s and 3s batteries for years now. Many, many runs thru all of them. Im a basher and they've lasted but I do take care of them. Not too bad in price either.

use to run only $$$expensive batteries$$$. and got tired of destroying them. now i run cheap$ Trunigy ultimate, trackstars, smc. don't mind if i destroy them. changed my charging and driving habits and now my im only just starting to see packs pack age on 3-4 year old batteries aspost to a 4-6 race day old batteries.

im a firm believer theres only a few batteries true manufacturers out there. and most sellers are just re-brands.

I've been using venom and only had 1 issue, they replaced it with no hassle.

Default Batteries

I have quite a few friends who run the smc packs and they seem to do really well. Priced well too. Iíll be definitely looking into them for my next season on outdoor off road.
