Default Corner weight vs left right balance

I am trying to balance my Mi5 using the Schumacher balancing jig and have managed to get very close corner balance, yet when I put the car on center balance pins to test the left right balance the car is out, and the reverse is obviously true also. Which matters more? As you can see on the battery I added weight to the outside so I didn't have to add loads of weight, I tried moving it in to the centre but I just can't get it to balance and have the corner weight even.

A perfect balance would be ideal but there is one simple formula to hold on:

leftfront + rightrear = rightfront + leftrear

first... get a 300 gram weight.. and make sure all four scales read the same from ONE 300 gram weight....

unless all 4 scales are calibrated by an Industry standard.( with paperwork of calibration ). you are chasing your tail

I only use two scales with the Schumacher jig. How important is corner weight and balance, as a noob I'm not sure how much I should worry about it.

Both are important, but very few have the tools to check L / R balance and fewer check corner weight. Even though you say you are a noob, you are already ahead of most of your competitors for build / tuning skills.

You are less than 1 gram off - nice job, go race.
