1:1 Gearing

Hey!

Wondering if there would be any speed increase running this one to one gearing: https://forums.traxxas.com/showthrea...-fastest-Rusty
(86t/86t)

vs

Running a more standard 1:1 such as 44t/44t

Any thoughts/experience with this?
(And yes I know... 1:1 gearing dangerous blah blah blah)

Always funny to see that offroad cars are modified to run onroad speedruns.....

A 1:1 gearing will stay a 1:1 gearing no matter what (equal) gears are used. Maybe the larger gears can give a more stable car due a better gyroscopic effect they create but nothing more.
