Default Need some help on Short Course Trucks

Hey guys

I am looking at buying my son a Short course truck, What is better Traxxas or SC10? He has been driving a B4 and we want to try to get him into a short course because he drives it better. I currently have a TLR SC with exo chasis and a TLR 3.0 buggy. He drives my truck very good. We do off-road and some in-door in Colorado. Any help would be appreciated

Why not stick with another TLR SC? That way you don't have to deal with having parts for two different manufacturer of SC's...

I 2nd the TLR SC. Just get him the same truck you have to save on spares. Also, if you have a good setup on one truck it's easy to duplicate.

The Traxxas trucks are tough and easy to maintain but as someone who races a Slash 4X4 in 4WD open I can tell you it's a struggle sometimes. They are really better suited to bashing.

I 3rd the above info, stay with TLR, parts support is great and if both of you are running the same truck you can share parts.
