Depends if its onroad or offroad and wether or not you will race. Onroad racing indoors on carpet normally will require the most replacement parts.

Offroading on a track not so much, bashing in the streets not bad either, as long as u dont battle with parked cars or telephone posts!

If youre running a nitro on-road its always handy to have some spare arms, hinge pins, belts (if its a belt drive car), and spur gears.....some spare bearings are always handy too
Cheers

I have not raced on carpet yet. I am going into that area. I have never heard the carpet cars need replacement parts. Are you talking about wheels, batteries, and motors? Or parts, like chassis parts, and belt drives?

The answer to your question is this. All cars/trucks/buggies are going to need replacement parts. Which parts need replacing sooner, are the constantly used parts. For example, if you buy a Savage, one part I have had to replace a couple of times is the spur gear. Now for the electric cars of mine, the only parts that I needed to replace are the ones that I broke. Basketball poles and walls are not RC’s friend.

Also, one more thing I would like to add is this. Some cars need replacement parts because of bad design, or whatever . So if you are going to buy a new RC model, check these forums to see what is breaking on them. So you can see it coming.

Hope that helps.
