I`ve tried wrapping them in plastic cling wrap to get them to last longer/stay fresh, have also tried aluminium foil (not a great method)......but as mentioned above i`ve found the zip lock sandwich bags to be the best...plus theyre reusable
Cheers

I store my foam tires in empty crystal light drink mix containers, they fit perfect and you can use a sharpie to label the containers for different tires. The crystal light containers add some protection too an keep them from getting flat spots.

Cool Idea on the Crystal light containers. My wife just looked at me like I was an idiot when emptied all of the containers and ran to the garage.

I just store them in my pit box in paperboard trays, in my basement, which is nice a cool. You don't really need to worry about the tires drying out as much as with rubber tires. My rubber tires on the other hand are stored in zip lock bags, to prevent them from dry rotting.

Store them in ZipLoc bags. They will definitely dry out quicker in open air. The shore/color ratings (which indicate hardness) will change as the tire hardens. If they do dry out, they'll work fine but will not be comparable to new tires with the same original shore/color rating (they'll be harder).
