Default schottky diode

what will i benefit from it? i ran my stock 27t motor without it but i installed ceramic capacitors 0.1uf..

am i doing fine?

A schottky diode is to help protect the esc, so if you can, run one. It'll also give you better braking by the end of a race.

oh i see, thanks xrayFK,

another question tho, do you got some pics of a schottky diode installed in a motor?

should i solder it together with the ESC wires touching the motor tabs? or should i only solder it in the motor tabs? its a non-polarized diode btw.

A schottky diode is polarized, so I don't think you have the right kind. It is a black barrel shape with a white ring on one side, that is the positive side. The diode can be soldered inline or on the motor tabs themselves.
