Tamiya TT02 TB04 LaFerrari, XV-01 GAZOO Car Kits are just stocked!!!!
The LaFerrari is the latest hi-tech super car from the world-famous Ferrari sport car automaker. It was announced by the Italian company in March 2013 and features active aerodynamics, whereby spoilers and other parts automatically adjust to provide optimal down-force, based on performance data collated internally by the car. The HY-KERS hybrid system makes use of Formula One technology, its 6,262cc V12 engine and an electric motor combining to give 963hp. Unlike your typical hybrid passenger car, the LaFerrari is considered a "mild-hybrid" car. Mild hybrids are essentially conventional vehicles with some degree of hybrid hardware, but with limited hybrid feature utilization. Only 499 of the limited edition vehicle will be produced, so it may prove to be a hard car to purchase on a whim. Prospective owners do have an alternative. The next best thing is to acquire the Tamiya R/C high performance car model!

Tamiya has faithfully reproduced this sleek sports car machine in 1/10 scale on the TT-02 entry level touring and sports car chassis. The TT-02 chassis platform is the successor to the TT-01 and it incorporates many new features to make it even easier for the new R/C kit builder to assemble and learn from. The TT-02 chassis performs well as cornering and overall speed has been enhanced to take advantage of new electronics available on the market. In addition to the TT-02 being an ideal platform to start from, R/C hobbyists can expand its potential by adding many of the Ho-Up-Options available to increase the cars speed and performance.

Tamiya 1/10 LaFerrari TB04 4WD EP On Road RC Car Kit #58580
The new LaFerrari R/C car is fitted on the new Tamiya TB-04 chassis platform. The TB-04 is a 1/10 scale 4WD machine that incorporates a drive-shaft down the center of the chassis to engage the front and rear gearboxes. The differentials inside the gearboxes are newly designed as they utilize a sealed gear differential system whereby the internal gears movement is controlled by different viscosity differential fluids. The double-wishbone suspension system utilizes the same "short reversible" type that has been used on the TB-03, TA-05 Version II, TA-06 and the TRF (Tamiya Racing Factory) 416 and 417 World Championship machines. The TB-04 also incorporates "IFS" (inboard front suspension) whereby the front shocks are positioned horizontally and low to the chassis, so that low profile sports car body shapes can be accurately reproduced without losing any realistic scale appearance such as the LaFerrari.

Tamiya 1/10 4WD XV-01 GAZOO Racing TRD 86 EP Rally RC Car Kit #58573
The TRD 86 is a car based on the Toyota 86 and it’s completely optioned out by TRD, Toyota's in-house tuning shop. This vehicle was run by the GAZOO Racing team, and took part in the Shinshiro Rally stage of the multi-stage TRD Rally Challenge Series held in Japan in 2012. The car finished in a credible 13th place overall (8th in the Toyota-only Class 4), but perhaps most remarkably, the GAZOO Racing TRD 86 was actually driven by the President of the Toyota motor company during the race.
The Tamiya RC car is based on the XV-01 platform. The 4WD XV-01 chassis offers dynamic R/C rally driving on both tarmac and gravel surfaces. It features a front-motor, belt-driven 4WD layout with front and rear enclosed gearboxes equipped with gear differential units. The box-like main frame incorporates covers and wheel well liners to provide superb protection against dirt and debris. The 4-wheel double wishbone suspension ensures plenty of suspension stroke and ground clearance and is matched with Rally Block Tires on replica wheels for realistic handling.
